Job Description
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who wants genuine ownership and the opportunity to help modernise a growing cloud environment.
n
You'll join a small internal technology team within a highly regulated organisation, helping move the workplace away from manual infrastructure management towards AWS, Terraform, automation and Infrastructure as Code.
n
The Opportunity You'll work end-to-end across AWS engineering, architecture, security, governance and automation, with the opportunity to influence how the platform evolves.

You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Designing and building AWS infrastructure using Terraform
n
Evolving AWS Landing Zones and multi-account environments
n
Moving infrastructure from ClickOps Infrastructure as Code
n
Building reusable Terraform patterns, standards and guardrails
n
Working across cloud networking, IAM, security and governance
n
Automating infrastructure delivery through GitHub Enterprise / CI/CD
n
Supporting Azure and progressively bringing infrastructure into IaC
n
Working closely with Data & AI teams on new AWS capabilities
n
Using modern AI-assisted engineering tooling to improve automation
n
Helping bring greater cloud capability and ownership in-house
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Strong hands-on AWS engineering
n
Advanced Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
n




AWS Landing Zones or equivalent
n
Strong cloud architecture, networking, IAM and security knowledge
n
Git and CI/CD experience
n
Exposure to Azure
n
Experience modernising manual or legacy cloud environments
n
Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
n
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
n
A proactive mindset and willingness to challenge and improve existing approaches
n
n
Experience within a highly regulated environment would be beneficial but isn't essential.
n
