Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is a single-stream Catholic co-educational primary school in Hilton, catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Year One teacher to join our dedicated team of educators.

Selection Criteria
A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
A team player, with a proven history of developing positive,



professional relationships in their current / previous community.
Evidence of data-informed teaching practice through the application of continuous monitoring strategies of achievement
Experience and passion for 21st century learning, incorporating ECE pedagogy.
A proven history of initiating and/or supporting whole school improvement practices and extra-curricular activities.
A professional who values the importance of teaching Social and Emotional Wellbeing to enhance and support the wellbeing of our students.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment for all students.
A team orientated, positive, professional, cooperative and collaborative educator who values and strives for continual qualified growth and values feedback.
A life long learner with a high level of professionalism, understanding of confidentiality, empathy and positive interpersonal skills.
Qualifications Required
A recognised Four Year ECE teaching qualification
Accrediation to teach Religious Education (or working towards)
