Job Description
Join a major Queensland government transformation programme as a Learning Specialist and help deliver impactful learning solutions for a large-scale enterprise content management project. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to shape learning outcomes across a complex ICT environment, with a strong focus on instructional design, digital learning and stakeholder capability uplift.

Key Responsibilities

Design engaging learning content, curricula, course outlines, lesson plans and storyboards.
n
Develop interactive e-learning, learning resources, knowledge checks and gamification activities.
n
Deliver training sessions, practice labs and drop-in sessions for diverse stakeholder groups.
n
Evaluate learner progress, feedback and performance metrics to identify skills gaps and improve learning outcomes.
n
Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams and stakeholders to support business readiness and a smooth transition to new systems.
n

Highly desirable criteria
n
n
Bring 7+ years' experience in a similar Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer or Learning Designer role.
n
Apply strong instructional design models,



adult learning principles and curriculum development practices.
n
Demonstrate hands‐on experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise and SharePoint Online.
n
Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools to support digital learning.
n
Create polished learning assets with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools.
n
Hold tertiary qualifications in instructional design, education, change management or a related discipline.
n
Show experience within an ICT programme or project environment.
n
Apply accessibility principles across learning content and delivery.
n
Bring previous experience within a regulatory or government workplace.
