We currently have exciting opportunities for friendly, motivated and reliable Casual Retail Assistants to join our teams at:

Our stores operate seven days a week, with night trading at some locations. Applicants must have flexible availability and be prepared to work a combination of weekday, weekend, public holiday and night shifts, depending on the needs of the store.

About the role
n
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service and sales support while helping maintain store presentation, stock levels and day-to-day retail operations.
n
As a public face of Noosa Chocolate Factory, you will create a welcoming and professional shopping experience for our customers while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the store.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Provide friendly, professional and productive customer service
n
Greet and assist customers in a helpful and courteous manner
n
Offer accurate product information and guidance to support customer purchases
n
Promote Noosa Chocolate Factory products confidently
n
Process sales using the point-of-sale system
n
Handle cash and electronic payments accurately
n
Wrap and package products neatly and safely
n




Respond to customer enquiries in person and by telephone
n
Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented store environment
n
Replenish shelves, displays and stock as required
n
Receive, unpack and organise stock deliveries
n
Assist with product displays and seasonal promotions
n
Follow food-safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
n
Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
Previous retail or customer-service experience
n
Cash-handling and point-of-sale experience
n
A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
n
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Flexible availability, including weekends, public holidays and late-night trading where required
n
A friendly, approachable and professional manner
n
A reliable work ethic and willingness to contribute as part of a team
n
The ability to stand for extended periods
n
The ability to undertake repetitive tasks, including packing, restocking and cleaning
n
The ability to safely lift and move light to moderate stock items
n
Previous experience is preferred; however, a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.
