Rivendell Conveyancing is seeking an experienced
Conveyancer
to join our team in
Beaconsfield Upper, Victoria
. This is a
full-time/part-time position
that plays a vital role in our business, providing essential conveyancing services to our clients throughout the property transaction process. As a Conveyancer, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth property transfers, managing complex legal documentation, and delivering exceptional client service.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and reviewing contracts of sale, transfer documents, and other documents related to property transactions
Conducting comprehensive property searches and investigations, including title searches, local council searches, and environmental reports
Managing client communications throughout the conveyancing process, providing clear explanations of procedures, timelines, and costs
Liaising with real estate agents, lenders, settlement agents, to ensure seamless transaction progression
Preparing settlement statements and financial documentation, ensuring accuracy in all monetary calculations
Managing post-settlement requirements
Keeping up to date with changes in conveyancing law and property legislation




What we're looking for
Minimum of 2 years' experience in conveyancing
Knowledge of property law, contract law, and conveyancing procedures specific to Victoria
Proficiency with conveyancing software and digital platforms commonly used in the industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients clearly
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
