About the role:
Total CMS is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team. This is a hands‐on role carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a variety of government, commercial and occupied properties throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally and can confidently manage maintenance tasks from initial fault‐finding through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
Fault‐finding, diagnosing electrical issues and completing repairs
Responding to maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently
Repairing and maintaining electrical assets, equipment and infrastructure




Completing minor electrical installations and upgrade works
Liaising professionally with clients, occupants, supervisors and other trades
Providing clear updates when additional work, materials or approvals are required
Maintaining accurate job notes, photographs, service records and documentation
Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Complying with relevant electrical legislation, Australian Standards and company safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
A valid White Card
Previous experience in electrical maintenance, service or fault‐finding
A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
Experience working across government, education, social housing, facilities maintenance or occupied properties will be highly regarded.
