About the role
Aero Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking
General Factory Hand
to join our manufacturing team in Melton.
This is a full-time, hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and can maintain accuracy and focus when completing repetitive production tasks.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of steel tubular products and related components
Cutting, sawing, grinding, deburring, drilling, expanding, notching and polishing
Pressure testing finished products and components
Operating industrial machinery including metal polishers, presses, drills, saws, stamping machines and laser etchers
Using machinery, equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Assisting other members of the production team as required
What we're looking for
Previous factory,



manufacturing or metalwork experience is preferred, but not essential
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to maintain focus, consistency and precision when performing routine tasks
Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
A practical, hands‐on approach and willingness to learn
Good physical fitness and stamina for a manufacturing environment
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
