This opportunity is suited to a skilled operator with proven final trim and GPS experience who can work accurately to levels, plans and specifications across civil and earthworks projects. The Role
As a Final Trim Operator, you'll be responsible for completing accurate earthworks and finishing activities to required levels and specifications. Your duties may include:
Completing final trim earthworks
Operating relevant heavy mobile plant
Working accurately to levels, plans and specifications
Using GPS/machine control systems
Trimming surfaces to required tolerances
Bulk and detailed earthworks
Preparing areas for subsequent construction activities
Completing daily pre-start inspections




Identifying and reporting equipment issues
Working around other plant, personnel and services
Liaising with supervisors and other operators
Maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and productivity
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Final Trim Operator
Strong final trim and detailed earthworks experience
Demonstrated experience using GPS/machine control systems
Relevant plant tickets/competencies
Previous civil construction or earthworks experience
Ability to work accurately to levels and specifications
Strong understanding of safe plant operation
Current Construction White Card
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Ability to complete daily pre-starts and equipment checks
High attention to detail
Reliable and safety-focused attitude
Ability to work effectively within a site team
Full Australian working rights

You're an experienced operator who understands that final trim requires precision. You're confident operating machinery, comfortable using GPS technology and able to achieve the required levels and tolerances without constant supervision. You'll bring a strong safety mindset, good communication skills and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
