We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse Manager to join our team at Ipswich Medical Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership capabilities to oversee a dedicated nursing team while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care.

Working closely with the Practice Manager and Medical Director, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical excellence, developing team capability, and ensuring the effective operation of the treatment room.

About the Role
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
Lead, coach and support a team of Practice Nurses, Treatment Room Assistants and Medical Assistants
n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the treatment room, ensuring safe and efficient patient care
n
Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and rostering activities for the nursing team
n
Drive employee engagement, performance development and ongoing education
n
Deliver hands‐on clinical care, including immunisations, wound management, health assessments and chronic disease management
n
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection control and accreditation requirements
n
Manage treatment room equipment, supplies and stock levels
n
Work collaboratively with GPs, Practice Managers and support teams to enhance patient outcomes

Foster a positive, patient‐focused culture centred on quality care and continuous improvement

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Previous leadership or management experience within a healthcare setting
n
Strong clinical nursing experience, preferably within General Practice or Primary Healthcare
n
Excellent communication, coaching and relationship‐building skills
n
Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities
n
A passion for developing and supporting clinical teams
n
A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
n
