Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far northwestern Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Restaurant Manager. This position will require you to have a highly visible presence and hands-on approach during service periods.
n
The key duties and responsibilities of this position include:
n
n
Managing staff to ensure restaurant service levels are consistent and of the highest possible standard
n
Providing ongoing training and mentoring of staff
n
Driving revenue by ensuring maximum covers per service period
n
Roster preparation and approval of timesheets in accordance with resort processes
n
Stock rotation and ordering, including a monthly stocktake
n
Monitoring the restaurant budget, including completing detailed reporting on the same
n
Working closely with the Kitchen and other resort departments
n
Ensuring the restaurant and staff is always presented to resort standards
n
Promptly address customer concerns
n
n




The required skills, experience and attributes for this position include
n
n
Experience working at Restaurant Management level in high-end full service restaurant
n
Previous experience working with European cuisine will be distinct advantage
n
Extensive local and international wine knowledge
n
A demonstrated history of training and mentoring staff that contributed to the delivery of increased customer satisfaction
n
A history of working within budgeted guidelines
n
Hold a current WA Liquor License, or the ability to obtain one
n
High level of personal presentation and grooming
n
Solid verbal and written English language skillsHave a professional, friendly and engaging personality
n
Micros experience (preferable)
n
Formal qualifications in hospitality management or similar
n
