Synergie is seeking multiple Freight Handlers / Dockhands for ongoing opportunities with our client, a busy freight and logistics operation located at Melbourne Airport, VIC.

What you will be required to do
Unloading freight and cartons from containers.
Moving cartons and freight onto conveyor belts.
Sorting freight into designated cages and areas.
Manual handling and lifting of items up to 25kg.
Moving freight safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Assisting with general dockhand and warehouse duties.
Following all site safety and manual handling procedures.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Working as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements.
To be successful in the role you will
Be physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual handling duties.
Be capable of safely lifting and moving items weighing up to 25kg.
Have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Have your own reliable transport to get to and from Melbourne Airport.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.




Be available to work AM or PM shifts, Monday to Friday.
Have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Previous experience as a Dockhand, Freight Handler, Freight Sorter, Container Unloader or Warehouse Labourer will be highly regarded.
