Our work spans engineering, design and manufacturing of reverse circulation drill rigs, hammers and bits. The company is also the Australian and New Zealand dealer for Fraste SPA drill rigs from Italy. We are currently operating in two facilities - Wangara and Bassendean.

About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to play a hands‐on role in overseeing all end‐to‐end warehouse operations, inventory control, and domestic/international freight for all SREPS Group products.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Warehouse & Inventory Management
Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials & finished product, including raw steel, RC hammers, drill bits, drill rigs & spare parts and associated products.
Implement and maintain rigorous inventory accuracy controls, regular stock counts, cycle counts, and serial-number/batch tracking systems.
Maximize warehouse space efficiency and design safe, heavy‐duty racking configurations suitable for high‐density, high‐payload metal items.
Partner with the production and assembly teams to stage raw materials and transfer finished goods efficiently without creating operational bottlenecks.
2. Logistics & Freight Operations
Coordinate domestic and international transport (sea freight, air freight, and hot‐shot site deliveries) directly to customer depots, remote mining operations, exploration sites, and distributor networks.
Manage import/export compliance,



customs documentation, dangerous goods handling, and heavy‐haulage transport permits as required.
Negotiate competitive freight rates and build solid operational relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and specialized logistics providers.
Ensure heavy‐duty export packaging, rust‐prevention treatment, and custom crating protocols strictly meet international shipping standards (e.g., ISPM 15 timber rules).
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse operators, storepersons, forklift drivers, and dispatch personnel.
Maintain strict adherence to site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, overhead crane operating protocols, and safe manual handling guidelines for heavy tools.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Lean manufacturing principles) across all storage and dispatch operations
Qualifications & Key Requirements
Experience:
5+ years of warehouse and logistics management experience within heavy manufacturing, mining equipment, industrial machinery, or metal fabrication contexts.
Systems Proficiency:
Hands‐on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems along with advanced spreadsheet skills.
Compliance & Logistics:
In‐depth knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, international sea/air freight routes, customs clearance, and heavy‐freight transport regulations.
Certifications & Licenses:
High‐risk work licenses, including Forklift Truck, Overhead Crane, or Rigging/Dogging certifications, are strongly preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership capabilities, vendor negotiation skills, physical spatial planning expertise, and high attention to detail in heavy item packaging and dispatch protection.
