About the Role
Are you an Accountant 'who's looking for more than just the day-to-day? This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Head Office Finance team in a role that blends core accounting work with genuine project involvement - helping shape how Finance operates across our national franchise network.
This full time position is based at our Head Office in Milton, Queensland, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
You'll assist with day-to-day accounting activities to keep the wheels turning, while also getting stuck into a variety of project work aimed at driving efficiencies, improving systems, and strengthening processes across the Finance function. It's a role with real variety - one day you might be reconciling accounts, the next you could be helping design a better way of doing things. If you enjoy problem-solving and want your work to have a visible, lasting impact, this is the role for you.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Assist with day-to-day financial accounting activities,



including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
Drive the project work aimed at bringing efficiencies and continuous improvement to the Finance team's systems and processes.
Assist with the Support at Home claims process, including submissions and reconciliation.
About You
CA or near qualified
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Accountant
Ability to self-manage to deliver autonomous outcomes as well as the willingness to contribute to a high performing team
Strong and demonstrable problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with Aged Care or Government Health Services highly regarded
