10+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture, with 3+ years in Cloud Data Platforms and Microsoft Fabric
n
Data Architecture & Platform Design
n
n
Design enterprise data architecture using Microsoft Fabric components including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, Semantic Models, and Power BI.
n
Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
n
Establish Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
n
Design enterprise-wide data integration frameworks and reusable architecture patterns.
n
n
Data Engineering & Integration
n
n
Architect batch, streaming, and event-driven ingestion solutions.
n
Design data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, and APIs.
n
Integrate data from ERP, CRM, SaaS, databases, files, and external platforms.
n
Implement scalable ELT/ETL solutions.
n

Data Modeling & Analytics
n
n
Define dimensional models, semantic models, and data product structures.
n




Design Direct Lake and Warehouse optimization strategies.
n
Enable self-service BI and advanced analytics through Power BI.
n
n
Governance & Security
n
n
Implement data governance using Microsoft Purview and Fabric governance capabilities.
n
Define security architecture including RBAC, row-level security, masking, encryption, and access controls.
n
Ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory, and organizational security standards.
n
Establish data quality, metadata, lineage, and catalog strategies.
n
n
Migration & Modernization
n
n
Lead migrations from legacy Data Warehouses, Synapse, Hadoop, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, or Databricks to Microsoft Fabric.
n
Define migration roadmaps and modernization strategies.
n
Conduct platform assessments and architecture reviews.
n
n
Performance & Optimization
n
n
Optimize Fabric workloads for scalability and performance.
n
Monitor and improve query performance, storage utilization, and cost efficiency.
n
Develop FinOps and capacity management strategies for Fabric F-SKUs.
n
n
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
n
n
Conduct architecture workshops and client discussions.
n
Provide technical leadership to data engineers, analysts, and BI teams.
n
Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
n
Support pre-sales, solutioning, estimations, and RFP/RFT responses.
