About the Role
Join Reid Stockfeeds as a Grain Operator and play a key role in the safe receival, storage and outloading of grain and bulk commodities at our Colbinabbin site. This hands-on role is suited to someone with grain bunker, storage or bulk commodity handling experience.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, sample and assess incoming grain and byproducts.
Operate front-end loaders, telehandlers and grain handling equipment.
Manage grain bunker and shed storage, stock segregation and inventory.
Safely and accurately load bulk vehicles.
Complete equipment pre-starts and operational records.
Maintain high safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
What You Will Bring
Experience working in grain bunkers, grain storage or bulk commodity operations.




Front-end loader and telehandler experience, or willingness to obtain competency.
Heavy Vehicle Licence (Desirable)
Strong commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work additional hours during peak harvest periods.

Complete site induction and safety and quality training. Learn the site, equipment, grain receival, bunker management and storage procedures.

Complete core receival, storage and outloading tasks with support. Build confidence in equipment operation, grain sampling, stock control and record keeping.

Confidently manage day-to-day grain handling activities while supporting protected operations, inventory accuracy and quality standards.
