About the Role
n
As aBehaviour Support Practitioner,you'llwork with individuals, their families, and support networks to develop and support providers to implementPositive Behaviour Support (PBS) plansthat promote safety, choice, and independence. You'lluse your clinicalexpertiseto:
n
n
Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based strategies.
n
Complete Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support plans
n
Collaborate with families, support workers, and allied health professionals.
n
Build the capacity of support teams through coaching and mentoring.
n
n
About You
n




You're an empathetic professional who thrives on helping others reach their potential.
n
You bring:
n
n
A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Developmental Educationor related field.
n
Registration preferably as a Core Practitioner.
n
Experience developing and implementing PBS plans in complex settings.
n
Strong communicationskills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
n
Robust IT, adminand organisation skills as you will be working with billable time.
n
A valid driver's licence and willingness to drive, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
