Job Description
As a Senior Accountant at Abound, you'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of established businesses, many with turnovers exceeding $20 million, while developing trusted adviser relationships with clients and leading junior team members. This is a highly visible role that combines strong technical expertise with client advisory and people leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities
n
Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
n
Tax planning and strategic advisory services
n
BAS, GST, FBT, CGT and Division 7A compliance
n
Franking account management
n
Liaison with the ATO and regulatory bodies
n
Client relationship management and advisory meetings
n
Mentoring, coaching and reviewing junior accountants
n
Assisting clients with business growth, profitability and strategic objectives
n
About you
n
CA Qualified
n
Minimum 4 years' experience in public practice
n
Educated and professionally established within Australia
n
Proven client-facing experience
n
Experience managing and developing team members
n
Strong exposure to businesses with turnover exceeding $20 million
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n




Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
n
Strong organisational and time management skills
n
Strong expertise across Accounting & Compliance, Taxation, Business Advisory, Client Relationship Management, and Team Leadership & Mentoring
