nAbout the Role: n

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
n
n
n
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
n
n
nWhat You'll Do: n
n
n
n
Subject matter expert for repair & maintenance (R&M;) activities across campus (break-fix & preventative maintenance)
n
n
Self-performance of break-fix repairs throughout campus or assigned buildings
n
n
Support preventative maintenance program throughout campus or assigned buildings
n
n
Lead lockdown activities with support of maintenance technician for campus
n
n
Supports vendor management of R&M; vendors for the campus or assigned buildings
n
n
Self-performance of PM activities throughout campus or assigned
n
n
Trainee / self-performance of break-fix activities throughout campus or assigned buildings
n
n




Self-performance of lockdown activities at the campus with direction of Building Engineer
n
n
Escorts R&M; vendors as needed for completion of preventative maintenance or break-fix activities for the campus or assigned buildings
n
n
Continuously drive positive safety culture
n
n
Employee engagement (WOW awards, safety hero, applause)
n
n
n

nWhat You'll Need: n
n
n
n
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
n
n
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
n
n
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
n
n
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
n
n
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
n
n
Robust organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
n
