, we support adults to stay independent, safe, and thriving within their own homes and local communities.
As our
Grade 1 Community Occupational Therapist
, you will experience the best of both worlds: diverse community casework combined with scheduled inpatient cover at Bacchus Marsh Hospital. Surrounded by an experienced multidisciplinary team and backed by structured senior supervision, you will gain hands‐on clinical mastery across home assessments, assistive technology prescription, and restorative rehabilitation.
Your Scope & Clinical Development
Collaborating within a supportive allied health team (including Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Diabetes Nurse Educators, and Allied Health Assistants),



your clinical remit includes:
Restorative In-Home Therapy:
Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and deliver goal-directed interventions for older adults and clients living with disability across home and community environments.
Assistive Technology & Home Modifications:
Assess functional needs and prescribe assistive equipment and home modifications across diverse funding schemes (NDIS, Support at Home, HACC-PYP, and CHSP).
Cross-Continuum Hospital Exposure:
Build clinical agility through scheduled coverage to the acute and subacute wards at Bacchus Marsh Hospital.
Multidisciplinary Group Programs:
Co-design and facilitate group-based health education and functional rehabilitation programs alongside allied health colleagues.
Delegation & Collaborative Care:
Partner closely with Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to execute and monitor ongoing client therapy plans.

What You Bring
Professional Registration:
Recognised tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration (recent and recent graduates welcomed).
Clinical Foundations:
Sound theoretical knowledge of occupational therapy principles across acute, subacute, and chronic physical health conditions.
Client-Centred Advocacy:
Passion for empowering client independence, self‐determination, and active participation in care planning.
Communication & Teamwork:
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills to build rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Professional Clearances:
Current Victorian Driver's Licence, National Police Record Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and Immunisation Clearance prior to commencement.
