Lead readiness planning for a major workforce and village uplift
About the Client:
Our client is a leading resources organisation undertaking a significant workforce and village uplift at Carrapateena, driving increased demand across accommodation, dining, transport and central facilities.
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Specialist to lead the planning and coordination required to ensure the operation is ready for significant workforce growth. You will translate forecast workforce demand into practical operational requirements, assess capacity and constraints, identify risks and dependencies, and develop prioritised readiness plans to support a successful transition to the future-state operating model. Working closely with Operations, Logistics, Infrastructure, Facilities and service providers, you will play a key role in ensuring workforce mobilisation is safe, coordinated and operationally sustainable.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end operational readiness for the Carrapateena uplift
Assess future capacity across accommodation, dining, kitchen, transport and village facilities
Develop demand and capacity models aligned to workforce growth
Identify constraints, risks, dependencies and required interventions
Assess flight, bus and ground transport requirements with People Logistics
Coordinate stakeholders across Operations, Logistics, Infrastructure and service providers
Develop and implement prioritised readiness plans and practical solutions
Track milestones,



actions and risks through to delivery
Provide clear reporting, recommendations and progress updates to leadershipSupport the transition from current-state operations to the future-state operating model
Skills & Experience:
Experience in Operational Readiness, Operations Planning, Workforce Logistics, Project Delivery or a similar discipline
Experience supporting workforce mobilisation, operational expansions, major projects or large-scale change
Robust understanding of workforce logistics, accommodation, transport, facilities or remote-site operations
Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving capabilities
Proven ability to develop and deliver structured readiness and implementation plans
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and drive outcomes
Mining, resources, FIFO or remote operational experience highly regarded
