They're currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their civil construction team, working on a 10/ 4 roster based in Central Queensland.

They're currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their civil construction team, working on a 10/ 4 roster based in Central Queensland.
The Opportunity
As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with a agile team of Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers to contribute to the engineering solutions.
Projects you will be working on
Water infrastructure asset
Oil and gas facility civil works
Major road upgrades, including intersection works
Renewable energy infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day engineering support and technical oversight across active civil construction works
Review and interpret design drawings, specifications and technical documentation




Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to ensure works are delivered in line with program and specification
Undertake quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with project and Australian Standards requirements
Support surveying, setout and as-constructed verification activities
Assist with program planning, resourcing and productivity tracking
Identify and manage on-site risks, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with WHS requirements
Liaise with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders on-site
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar) is highly regarded
Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer within a civil construction environment
Experience across water infrastructure, resources/oil and gas, or road infrastructure projects highly valued
Strong understanding of civil construction methodology, quality systems and Australian Standards
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with site teams, subcontractors and clients
Willingness to work a 10/4 roster based in Central Queensland
