THE ROLE
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the
Packer
positions are responsible for ensuring all scheduled production tasks are carried out according to procedures and quality standards in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
This includes (but not limited to) the following:
Working on the assembly line, with repetitive actions, packing and boxing of products
Monitoring of product quality on the line and after production, whilst taking positive action if variation is observed
Lifting and pulling of items up to 15kg




Completion of cleaning and sanitation procedures and schedules as directed
To be the successful candidate, you will have:
Previous packing/process worker experience essential, ideally in the food industry
Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, rapid paced environment
Demonstrate a commitment to safety to yourself and your colleagues
Forklift Licence would be advantageous
Ability to work with limited supervision
Willingness to learn new skills
Applicants should be prepared to perform manual handling, including lifting up to 15kg. It is a requirement for the successful applicant to complete a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process.
