We're looking for a
Business Development Manager
to help grow our client base across Melbourne,predominantly in theWestern and Northern Suburbs.
This is a
field-based sales role
, with approximately
90% of your time spent on the road
meeting businesses, developing relationships and creating new opportunities.
The Role
Your focus will be simple:
win new clients and grow the business.
You'll be responsible for:
Prospecting for new B2B clients
Visiting warehouses, factories, 3PLs and other industrial businesses
Conducting face-to-face sales meetings
Speaking with business owners and key decision-makers
Understanding workforce requirements and identifying opportunities
Making outbound calls and following up prospects
Building and managing your sales pipeline
Converting prospects into current client accounts
Developing long-term client relationships
Growing existing accounts where opportunities arise
Recording visits and follow-ups using our internal systems
You'll have a high level of autonomy and be trusted to manage your day to day and create your own opportunities.

You don't need prior labour-hire experience. We can teach you the industry, our services and how we operate.
We're looking for someone who brings the sales ability.
Who We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in




experienced B2B salespeople and Business Development Managers
.
Experience in labour hire, recruitment, logistics, warehousing, 3PL or manufacturing is highly regarded, but not essential.
We're also open to a strong junior salesperson with the right attitude and potential.
You'll ideally be:
Confident and personable
Proactive and self-motivated
Comfortable with face-to-face prospecting
Comfortable making outbound calls
Persistent and resilient
Commercially minded
Organised with strong follow-up
Comfortable working independently
Most importantly, you should enjoy
getting out into the market, meeting new people and creating business opportunities.
What We Offer
90% Road-Based
This is not a desk-bound sales role. Most of your time will be spent visiting businesses and developing opportunities face-to-face.
Company Vehicle
A company vehicle may be available to the right person, particularly an experienced salesperson who demonstrates the ability to deliver results.
Technology & Support
Our internal systems help you record businesses visited, track prospects and manage follow-ups. We are open to acquiring new technology where required.
Working Hours
9am to 5pm
You'll also have access to Breeze Group's existing
industry knowledge, operational capability and recruitment infrastructure

Location
Our head office is in
Ravenhall
, with a strong focus on Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
We also have an office in the
Northern Suburbs
.
The role will involve regular travel throughout Melbourne
Salary & Earning Potential
$100K–$120K + Super
Uncapped earning potential.
The final package will depend on your experience and track record.
