THE ROLE
n
n
Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of features across Lumi's lending,



risk management and customer service systems, working closely with engineers, product managers, designers and business stakeholders.
n
Improve the reliability, security, scalability and maintainability of our platform through sound architectural decisions and strong practices across testing, observability and code review.
n
Raise the capability of the engineering team by mentoring others, sharing knowledge and helping evolve our technical standards and practices.
n
Explore and apply AI technologies where they can improve customer outcomes, internal processes or engineering productivity.
n
Demonstrated experience operating as a senior full-stack engineer, ideally building production applications with TypeScript and React.
n
Strong engineering fundamentals and experience working with distributed systems or microservices.
n
Strong practices across automated testing, security, observability, code review and incident response.
n
A track record of owning complex features from shaping and estimation through delivery, rollout and production support.
n
Sound judgment when balancing customer value, delivery speed, technical quality, cost and long- term maintainability.
n
Experience mentoring engineers and positively influencing technical standards and team practices.
n
Experience with, or curiosity about, using generative AI tools effectively as part of the software development.
n
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
