Director/Educational
Leaderto lead, inspire, support and manage our team of Educators, and assist with running the day-to‐day operations of our amazing service!

About the role
n
Assisting the Centre Director in managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
n
Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
n
Inspire, motivate, guide and support Educators to progress the Service's excellence in practice in partnership with the Leadership team.
n
Support Educators to assess each child's learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework and other contemporary theories.
n
Support educator's to critically reflect on each child's learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
n
Assist and develop clear goals for Educators regarding the efficiency of theeducational program.
n
Ensure that the service complieswith best practices, including curriculum development, staffprofessional development, administrative procedures and cooperating with families and thecommunity.
n
Assist with the coordination ofthe day-to-day operations.
n
Create a balance with well above the required non-contact time to complete your role.
n
Upholding consistent high-quality standards for center presentation and work practices.
n
Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families,



educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
n
About you
n
Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
n
Must have 1 experience as a Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
n
Current blue card, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.
n
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
n
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
Showcase the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.
n
Express willingness to facilitate and coordinate ongoing professional development training for educators.
n
Demonstrate the ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
