About the role
The Property Compliance Officer ensures our properties adhere to relevant regulations and safety standards through coordinating compliance activities, diligent record-keeping, and risk identification. Your day-to-day will include coordinating inspections and repair works, preparing and submitting compliance reports, maintaining up-to-date records, certifications and permits, and proactively addressing issues before they **escalate**.
This is a 12-month Fixed-term contract.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented and ideally has experience in property compliance, facilities management, or risk management. To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in property compliance, facilities management, or building compliance.




Experience coordinating AESMR and Essential Safety Measures (ESM) compliance activities.
Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills, including scheduling and coordination across a property portfolio.
Knowledge of building compliance obligations, the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), auditing, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Well-developed administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in the not-for-profit, community housing, or social housing sector is highly regarded.
