What you'll be doing
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly, professional and respectful manner
Answer incoming calls, respond to patient enquiries, and direct messages appropriately
Schedule and manage appointments, including coordinating with doctors and nurses to support efficient patient flow
Process patient registrations, payments, Medicare claims and other medical billing requirements
Maintain accurate patient records, including scanning, filing and managing incoming correspondence
Provide administrative support to the clinical team and Practice Manager as required
Assist with recalls, reminders and other patient follow-up processes in accordance with practice procedures
Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality, privacy and attention to detail
Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the medical centre
Provide a calm, helpful and qualified experience for patients, including during busy periods
What we're looking for
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment




Confidence in using computer systems and medical software (desirable but not essential)
Commitment to providing outstanding patient care
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures would be highly advantageous
Availability for both opening and closing shifts
Enthusiastic and can-do attitude
