About the role
n
This role will see you securely operating, monitoring, and maintaining managed operating environment services on a day-to-daybasis to ensure effective and efficient technology delivery, using service frameworks, architectures and solutions ensuring Sydney Water's digital resilience. You will also work to enhance the end-user experience for all users within Sydney Water's multi-site environment.

Your duties will involve:
n
n
Operating and implementing Managed Operating Environment services across all sites ensuring service levels, availability, capacity and resilience
n
Collaborating with all Digital teams and relevant frameworks to provide information on Managed Operating Environment services supporting delivery, development and continuous improvement of future foundation services
n




Working with external service providers to operate and implement the day-to-daymaintenance and monitoring of all managed operating environment systems and services, informing the functional lead of any risks, issues and performance impacts
n
Implementing tasks allocated by the functional lead to managed operating environment services to meet customer service requirements.

Ensuring adherence to Sydney Water IT policy, process and frameworks
n
n
About you
n
This role will suit someone who has prior experience as a technical specialist in a Citrix environment, and who is looking to develop some complementary skills in the MS Exchange space.
n
Working in a dynamic team environment you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer focus and a desire to create a positive end-user experience. You are willing to share your Citrix expertise, and to learn recent skills to support the team's requirements.
n
You will have:
n
n
Tertiary degree qualification in IT, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
n
Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in delivery, implementation and operation of managed operating environment services.
n
Technical experience with supporting a large Citrix Environment
n




Experience with various versions of Citrix from XenApp 6.5 to Citrix Cloud
n
Experience with Citrix provisioning tools such as PVS and MCS
n
Excellent communication skills, flexibility, team focus and dedication to customer service
n
Ability to communicate complex technical problems effectively
n
Ability to problem solve difficult issues and come to a technical solution that meets business needs
n
Demonstrated people collaboration skills
n
n
Desirable:
n
Demonstrated experience working with quality frameworks
n
Demonstrated experience in working with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Group Policy, application packaging, SCCM, Intune, Autopilot Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid and Microsoft 365
n
