is seeeking an experienced
Linux Technician
to support a major ICT modernisation project delivering secure, resilient systems across our client's environments.
You'll work across
Linux/RHEL infrastructure
, supporting system builds, security hardening, monitoring, scripting and automation. The role includes developing reusable automated builds and producing technical documentation, SOPs and build guides.
Experience with
RHEL 7/8/9, Ansible, GitLab, YUM and Elastic Stack (ELK)
is highly desirable, along with strong Linux security and automation skills.
Build, configure and support Linux/RHEL systems across Defence ICT environments.
Provide technical expertise in Linux security, hardening and system monitoring.
Develop scripts and automation to improve system deployment and configuration.




Create and maintain reliable, reusable automated system builds.
Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of Linux environments.
Develop and peer review SOPs, build guides and technical documentation.
Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to support capability improvements
