Erina Pharmacy is an established, owner-operated community pharmacy located in Fountain Plaza, Erina. We are a busy, friendly and community-focused pharmacy with a loyal customer base, a strong reputation for service, and compounding services on site.

We are seeking a capable, warm and reliable full time Pharmacy Assistant to join our supportive team. This is an important customer-facing position for someone who enjoys building genuine rapport, remembers regular customers, and takes pride in providing helpful, professional service.
n
The role will suit an experienced pharmacy assistant looking for stability, variety and an opportunity to grow within a well-established independent pharmacy. Applicants with more than three years of community pharmacy experience will be highly regarded; however, candidates with a minimum of one year's pharmacy assistant experience and the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

About the role
n
This is a permanent full-time role of approximately 38 hours per week, with an anticipated Tues-day to Saturday roster. Saturday work is required, although alternate-Saturday arrangements may be discussed for the right applicant.
n
Your primary focus will be providing outstanding back-counter support and customer service, including assisting customers with S3 pharmacy medicines under pharmacist supervision. You will also assist across a broad range of daily pharmacy activities, making this an ideal role for a true all-rounder.

Key responsibilities

Deliver friendly, confident and professional customer service at the pharmacy counter
n
Build strong,



long-term relationships with regular customers and the local community
n
Assist with S2 and S3 medicine sales in accordance with pharmacy procedures and pharmacist direction
n
Assist customers with prescription collection and handout processes
n
Support NDSS supply and related customer enquiries
n
Provide productive support to pharmacists and dispensary staff in a busy workplace
n
Use the FRED pharmacy system for relevant pharmacy-assistant and customer-service tasks
n
Assist with receiving, unpacking, rotating and maintaining pharmacy stock
n
Help maintain attractive, well-stocked front-of-shop and counter displays
n
Respond to customer enquiries in person and by telephone with care and professionalism
n
Assist with local home deliveries when required, using the pharmacy delivery vehicle
n
Maintain a clean, organised and professional pharmacy environment
n
Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-service team culture
n

About you
n
To succeed in this role, you will be a personable and proactive pharmacy assistant who can manage a busy pace without compromising care, accuracy or customer experience.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
A minimum of one year's experience working as a pharmacy assistant in a community pharmacy
n




More than three years' experience, which will be highly regarded
n
Current S2/S3 certification - essential
n
Excellent customer-service and communication skills
n
A genuine ability to build rapport with a broad range of customers, including long-term regulars
n
Confidence assisting with S3 customer enquiries under pharmacist supervision
n
Dispensary experience, which will be a significant advantage
n
Experience using FRED or the ability to learn pharmacy systems quickly
n
A current Australian driver licence - essential
n
The ability to work full-time and participate in Saturday work
n
Strong reliability, initiative, attention to detail and a team-first attitude
n
The ability to remain calm, efficient and professional during busy periods
n
