About Tiny Trails
Tiny Trails Early Learning is a brand new 90-place early learning service designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and connection with the natural world.
At Tiny Trails, we believe childhood is an adventure. Our environments are thoughtfully created to encourage exploration, resilience, creativity and discovery. From nature-inspired play spaces to hands-on learning experiences, we support children to grow into capable and confident learners.
We are building a passionate founding team who are excited to help shape the culture, routines and learning journeys of a brand new service.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Lead Educator
to join our opening team.
As a Lead Educator, you will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging and inspiring learning environment for children while supporting and guiding your room team.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating inviting, nature-inspired learning environments
Supporting children's wellbeing, development and sense of belonging
Building strong relationships with families and colleagues
Maintaining high standards of supervision and safety
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture
Supporting documentation and reflective practice
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a
current centre
and help establish strong foundations from day one.
What You Bring
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
Understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
Passion for outdoor learning, exploration and child-led experiences
Confidence leading a room and supporting other educators
Warm, positive communication style
