We are looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our Port of Brisbane team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers container runs within the Port of Brisbane precinct, including A Double and B Double combinations, as well as the movement of out-of-gauge and oversize containerised cargo. You'll be home every night, operating a modern fleet with a professional team behind you.
Key responsibilities
Container pickup and delivery runs within the Port of Brisbane precinct
Operating A Double and B Double combinations safely and efficiently
Movement of out-of-gauge (OOG) and oversize containerised cargo, including flat racks and open tops
Safe and efficient operation of MC prime mover combinations across a range of freight tasks
Pre-start vehicle inspections and basic checks in line with company procedures
Accurate completion of run sheets, delivery dockets, oversize permits, and compliance records
Adherence to port protocols, biosecurity requirements, and load restraint standards
Clear communication with the operations team regarding schedules, permit conditions, and any issues on the run
Maintaining the high presentation standard of our modern fleet
About you
Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence — essential
Valid MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) — essential
Minimum 3 years' experience operating MC combinations, including A Double and B Double
Demonstrated experience in the movement of out-of-gauge (OOG)



and oversize containerised cargo — highly regarded
Previous Port of Brisbane or port environment experience — highly regarded
Strong knowledge of load restraint requirements, oversize permit conditions, and safe work practices
Ability to read and comply with load plans and OOG movement requirements
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated — you take pride in the job
Good communication skills and a skilled attitude

$48 – $55 per hour + superannuation
