We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Window & Door Installer
to join our team in Melbourne VIC ****. This is a
full-time position
that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations to our clients. As a Window & Door Installer, you will be responsible for the precise installation, fitting, and finishing of windows and doors across various residential sites. This role is fundamental to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction on every job we undertake.
Key responsibilities
Measure, cut, and install windows and doors to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
Prepare installation sites by removing old windows and doors, making valuable the surrounding area, and preparing surfaces for new installations
Apply weatherproofing sealants, insulation, and finishing materials to ensure optimal performance and durability
Use a range of hand and power tools safely and competently, maintaining equipment in good working order
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure they meet project standards and client expectations
Work efficiently to meet project timelines whilst maintaining the highest standards of workmanship
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients throughout the installation process
Handle and dispose of waste materials responsibly
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Window & Door Installer or in a similar role within the building trades industry
Sound knowledge of window and door installation techniques, materials, and best practices




Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights when required
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety standards
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Team player with the ability to work independently when required
