The Woodford Hotel is looking for an experienced Pub Chef to join our kitchen team.

/n

We’re a busy, well-established country pub with a strong local following and a reputation for great pub food . Our focus is easy – quality ingredients, generous meals, consistent standards and the classic pub favourites our customers keep coming back for.

About the Role /n

This is a hands‑on position for a chef who enjoys being part of a busy kitchen and takes pride in putting up consistently great food.

/n

You’ll work alongside our kitchen and management team across lunch and dinner services, helping us maintain the quality and reputation the Woodford Hotel is known for.

/n

Your role will include:

- Preparing and cooking quality pub meals

/n

- Working across all sections of the kitchen

/n

- Maintaining consistency, presentation and portion control

/n

- Assisting with prep and service

/n

- Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures

/n

- Helping manage stock, rotation and wastage

/n

- Working as part of a positive and reliable kitchen team

/n





- Contributing ideas for specials and menu development

/n

About You /n

We’re looking for someone who:

/n

/n

- Has experience working as a chef, ideally in a pub or busy casual dining venue

/n

- Understands good, honest pub food

/n

- Can handle a busy service while maintaining quality

/n

- Is reliable, organised and works well within a team

/n

- Takes pride in their food and their kitchen

/n

- Has a positive attitude and is happy to get stuck in

/n

- Holds relevant cookery qualifications or equivalent experience

/n
