We're looking for a friendly, organised, and hands-on Canteen Assistant to join our team at Grantham. If you enjoy cooking, creating menu options, and supporting staff in a fast-paced workplace, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Role /n

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a key part in keeping our plant team nourished and happy. From preparing and serving meals to managing supplies and maintaining a clean kitchen, you'll ensure the canteen runs smoothly every day.

What You'll Be Doing /n

- Prepare and serve meals for staff, catering to a variety of tastes

/n

- Manage regular ordering and stock takes of canteen supplies

/n





- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

/n

- Cook a variety of meals and create new daily menu options for staff

/n

- Use cafeteria-style point-of-sale software to process transactions

/n

What We're Looking For /n

- Experience in food service or hospitality

/n

- Confident using point-of-sale systems

/n

- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner

/n

- Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

/n

- Passionate about preparing quality meals and supporting a team
