Our client is a well Established mining operation in Far North Queensland, offering long-term Opportunities within a safety-focused and supportive maintenance team.

Your new role

We are seeking an Experienced Electrician to join a busy site maintenance team on a 2:2 roster. Working across fixed plant, camp facilities and auxiliary equipment, you will be responsible for delivering high quality electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair services to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the site infrastructure.

Key responsibilities Include:

- Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, installations and breakdown work
- Performing preventative maintenance and statutory testing activities
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults across a range of equipment
- Maintaining conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps and other fixed plant equipment
- Supporting water treatment and sewage treatment plant operations
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety procedures and legislative requirements
- Contributing to maintenance planning and scheduling activities




- Working closely with operations and maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability

What you'll need to succeed

- Australian Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence
- Current CPR/LVR and First Aid certification
- Previous mining, processing plant or heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Highly regarded:

- Refrigeration /Air Conditioning or Dual Trade qualification
- PLC and Instrumentation experience
- EWP, Forklift or AC Ticket
- Experience maintaining water treatment or fixed plant infrastructure
