Little Miracles Point Clare is looking for a kitchen hand to work 9am to 2pm, 5 days a week. The successful applicants must be enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team and flexible. The Kitchen Hand is is charge of morning and afternoon tea, and the serving of our outsourced lunches.

/n

To qualify for this position you need to comply with the Cooks In Education And Care Services Qualification Guidelines. This requires you to have successfully completed units in:

/n

menu planning;

/n

nutrition; and

/n

The role will include tasks such as

/n

Food preparation for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

/n

Safe food handling for allergic/anaphylactic children

/n

Meal plating and service and taking to classrooms

/n

Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing

/n

Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed

/n

Work collaboratively with other team members within the kitchen and throughout the service.

/n





You will also need to have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check

/n
