ELC Lunch Assistant (Part-Time) Ongoing Part-Time Position | 13 Hours Per Week

An exciting opportunity has become available for a caring and enthusiastic ELC Lunch Assistant to join the Early Learning Centre of a highly regarded independent school.

/n

Working with the 3–4-year-old kinder program , you’ll play an key role in supporting children during the lunchtime routine, ensuring they feel safe, supported and engaged while educators take their lunch breaks.

/n

About the Role Commencing 21 August , this ongoing position is perfect for someone looking for school-friendly hours in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

/n

Your responsibilities will include:

/n

/n

- Supervising children during the lunchtime period.

/n

- Assisting with lunch set-up and pack-down/clean-up.

/n

- Supporting children’s bathroom routines.

/n

- Helping maintain a safe,



nurturing and engaging environment.

/n

- Working collaboratively with teachers and educators to support children’s wellbeing.

/n

Hours

/n

/n

- Monday: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

/n

- Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

/n

- Friday: 12:00 pm – 2:00

/n

/n

This is a team-oriented team that values quality education, child wellbeing and supporting one another.

About You. To be successful in this role, you will have:

/n

/n

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

/n

- Experience working with children aged 3–4 years.

/n

- A warm, outgoing and nurturing approach.

/n

- Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

/n

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

/n

/n

You will also hold (or be willing to obtain):

/n

/n

- Current Working with Children Check.

/n

- Current Police Check.

/n

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

/n

/n
