The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will sit in the corporate head office and report to an energizing and talented Financial Controller who has a great track record of developing and mentoring her team. You will be trained up to take on duties that will include (not limited to):

Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports

Supporting annual financial statements, tax returns and other compliance requirements

Maintaining and updating financial models





Contributing to project budgeting and forecasting

Completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing portfolio transactions

Managing limited AP and AR requirements relating to your assets

Partnering with internal stakeholders and contributing to finance projects and process improvements

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant opportunity, our client is looking for a talented individual with the following experience:

Three or more years of accounting experience gained in commerce, audit, tax or business services

An accounting degree with a solid academic record

CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or significant progress toward completion

The technical capability and ambition to take ownership of an asset portfolio

Permanent Australian working rights

Strong written and verbal communication skills
