Randstad is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Site manager commercial fitout projects

in this role, you will be responsible for leading site activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining strict quality control, and upholding safety on site. You will work closely with Project Managers, clients, and design teams to deliver high-quality commercial spaces safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Site & Safety Leadership: Drive an exceptional Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) culture on site. Conduct daily site inductions, assess subcontractor Protected Work Method Statements (SWMS), and manage site risk inspections.

On-Site Coordination: Manage short- and long-term site construction programs, supervise trades and subcontractors, and oversee furniture deliveries and site logistics.

Quality & Defect Management: Monitor workmanship against specifications and drawings to ensure defect-free handovers.

Stakeholder Management: Build positive relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and building managers. Run weekly site meetings and raise design/buildability issues promptly.

Team Mentorship: Lead, coach, and mentor Site Coordinators to support their professional development.

Project Administration: Maintain site diaries, manage site amenities,



and track project progress through digital project management tools (Procore).
Key Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience, including at least 2 years in site management within commercial fitouts.

Project Track Record: Proven background delivering commercial fitout projects ranging from $700k to $5M+.

Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to interpret plans and specifications, develop construction schedules, and understand trade principles.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Procore (or similar project delivery systems), MS Project, Word, and Excel.

Certifications:

Current Construction Industry Card (White Card).

Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Building-related trade or tertiary qualification
