About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of waste management and environmental services, delivering reliable waste collection solutions to commercial and residential customers. With a strong focus on safety, customer service, and operational efficiency, they are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Driver Multi System Operator to join their team.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Driving and operating company vehicles and waste collection equipment
- Providing efficient and reliable bin collection services
- Operating vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions, operating procedures, and company regulations
- Performing loading and unloading of waste
- Completing all required records and paperwork accurately
- Maintaining a professional company image and delivering high-quality customer service
- Maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation, both inside and out
- Operating computerised systems and other work-related equipment
- Completing daily vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Complying with all relevant fatigue management requirement, regulations, and training
- Assisting co-workers with other duties as required
What You Will Need:
- Previous experience operating heavy vehicles and/or waste collection equipment
- Waste industry experience (desirable)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks autonomously
- Strong work ethic and excellent attendance and reliability
- Self-motivated attitude with a willingness to take initiative
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to assist co-workers as required
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
- Commitment to fatigue management and safe driving practices
