An established and expanding civil contractor is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of site delivery across excavation, earthworks and shoring projects.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is confident leading crews, coordinating subcontractors and keeping works progressing safely and efficiently. You will work closely with senior management and the Project Manager, playing an important role from mobilisation through to completion.

Responsibilities:

- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running and coordination of site activities.
- Lead site crews and subcontractors, ensuring labour, plant and materials are effectively utilised.
- Coordinate excavation, earthworks and shoring activities in line with programme requirements.
- Review construction drawings, specifications and methodologies and ensure works are delivered accordingly.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Drive a strong safety culture across site, including toolbox meetings, inductions and inspections.




- Maintain site records and quality documentation, including SWMS, ITPs and relevant compliance paperwork.
- Identify potential construction issues early and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and disruption.

Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in a Civil Foreman / Site Supervisor position.
- Solid practical experience across excavation, earthworks and shoring.
- Confident managing crews, subcontractors and site operations.
- Good understanding of construction safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
- White Card and current driver's licence.
- Construction or Project Management qualifications will be viewed favourably.
