Lawson Elliott is excited to be exclusively partnering with a growing organisation who are looking to welcome in an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis through till the end of November, with extension highly likely.

This will be an excellent chance for someone who is highly experienced with large accounting systems and has the knowledge and skillset to work standalone. You will primarily act as the "safety net" for all things Accounts Payable across the business, but this role will also encompass a wide variety of responsibilities within their Finance team as well.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

- Reporting and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assist with payment runs across their newly implemented system
- Manage the AP inbox and respond to supplier enquiries
- Identify and solve any issues within the end-to-end process




- High-volume credit card reconciliations
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
- Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc accounts duties as required

To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have:
- Minimum 3+ years of work experience as an Accounts Payable officer within a large team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge and experience working in both autonomous and manual processing environments highly desired
- High problem-solving skills and solution-focussed mindset
