Madge Metal Fabrication is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricators to join their team in Nowra NSW.

Madge Metal Fabrication is an Australian-owned metal fabrication business established in 2008 and based in Nowra, NSW. The company provides structural steel and custom metal fabrication services for residential, commercial and industrial projects across NSW and the ACT, including structural steel, staircases, handrails, awnings, pergolas and custom metalwork.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Select, prepare and cut metal using hand tools, cutting torches and machinery
- Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools
- Measure and align components for accurate fit-up
- Weld, bolt and rivet metal components
- Inspect welds for quality, penetration and accuracy
- Grind, file,



clean and finish fabricated products
- Operate workshop and fabrication equipment safely
- Assist with structural steel assembly, installation and repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition

About You

- Demonstrated experience in structural steel or metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong welding, cutting, shaping and finishing skills
- Valuable attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
