About the Opportunity
We are currently partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business that supplies high-quality products across Australia. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build or further develop their career within food quality and compliance. Working closely with the QA Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining quality systems, supporting food safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards across multiple manufacturing sites.

This role supports operations across both the Braybrook and Dandenong locations. Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling between sites as required.

Duties:

- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems
- Support food safety and quality compliance activities across manufacturing operations
- Investigate and process non-conformances and assist with corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, records, and reports
- Monitor laboratory testing schedules and follow up on any deviations
- Assist with supplier approval and verification programs
- Support internal audits and certification activities
- Contribute to the development of SOPs, process flow charts, and hazard analyses
- Promote and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards throughout the site




- Perform quality verification activities and provide administrative support to the QA function

About You:

- Bachelor of Food Science & Technology, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
- HACCP Certification
- Internal Auditor Training highly regarded
- Previous experience within food manufacturing, quality assurance, QA administration, or food safety environments
- Must have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle, as regular travel between the Braybrook and Dandenong sites is required.
