TRADE ASSISTANT – BUILDING / PLASTERING EXPERIENCE

Our client is a well-established Modular building company located just outside Toowoomba, and they are looking for THREE reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in the building industry and enjoys hands-on work.

The team is continuing to grow and is building a great workplace culture where people work together, support each other and take pride in what they do.

THE ROLE

Working as part of the building team, you will assist with the construction, fit-out and finishing of portable buildings.

Your duties may include:

• Assisting qualified tradespeople with day-to-day building work
• Plastering, patching and general finishing work
• Using hand and power tools
• Measuring, cutting and assembling materials
• Assisting with framing, fit-outs and general construction
• General building and labouring duties
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Helping wherever needed to get the job completed to a high standard

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous building or construction experience
• Has some plastering,



gyprock or patching experience
• Is confident using hand and power tools
• Has a good understanding of general building practices
• Is physically fit and enjoys hands-on work
• Has a excellent attitude and is willing to learn
• Is reliable and turns up ready to work
• Takes pride in their workmanship
• Works well as part of a team
• Is looking for a long-term position rather than just short-term work

You don't need to be a qualified tradesperson — we're looking for people with practical building experience, a good work ethic and the right attitude.
