Site Project Supervisor

Precision Laser Cleaning | Full time | Mornington / Melbourne VIC

Precision Laser Cleaning is looking for a hands-on Site Project Supervisor to join our growing team.

This role would suit someone from an industrial, coatings, maintenance or shutdown background who is ready to step into more responsibility.

You do not need to be a highly experienced Project Manager. We are looking for someone practical, level-headed, adaptable and keen to grow with the business.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will help deliver a wide variety of projects across Victoria and interstate.

Most of the year you will be working around Mornington and Melbourne on restoration, fire-damage cleaning, industrial laser cleaning, corrosion removal and specialist surface preparation projects.

Several times each year you will also travel interstate for major shutdown and outage projects, usually for 1–3 weeks at a time, working with crews of around 5–10 people in some amazing locations across Australia.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Supervising small site crews

- Working alongside the team and operating advance laser cleaning equipment

- Acting as the onsite contact for customers

- Managing daily priorities, progress and productivity

- Running pre-starts and toolbox meetings

- Coordinating labour and equipment

- Completing basic project reporting and timesheets

- Supporting project mobilisation and demobilisation

- Providing progress updates to the Head of Operations

- Helping train and develop Laser Technicians

- Identifying delays, additional works and potential variations

About You





You will ideally have experience in industrial or trade-based environments and be comfortable both supervising people and getting on the tools.

Experience in any of the following would be highly desirable:

- Sandblasting and industrial painting

- Protective coatings

- NDT

- NACE / AMPP coatings inspection

- Power station shutdowns

- Mining or industrial maintenance

- Surface preparation

- Restoration or remediation

Laser cleaning experience is not required. Full training will be provided.

You should be:

- Practical and hands-on

- Confident dealing with customers

- Comfortable leading small crews

- Organised and reliable

- Adaptable across different types of projects

- Comfortable travelling interstate several times per year

- Keen to learn and progress into greater project and operational responsibility
