No experience as a Pool Lifeguard? No problem. We provide fully paid Lifeguard training, delivered on site by our experienced and qualified trainers, giving you all the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

Your New Role

As a Pool Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone who visits our aquatic centre. You'll actively supervise the pool, identify and respond to potential hazards, provide first aid and emergency response when required, and help promote safe behaviours around the water.

Beyond keeping our patrons safe, you'll deliver outstanding customer service, assist members and visitors with their enquiries, support the day-to-day presentation of the facility,



and contribute to a positive team culture. Every interaction is an opportunity to make someone feel welcome and encourage them to enjoy all that our aquatic centre has to offer.

About You

- Hold a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Hold a Pool Plant Operators Certificate and a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate is highly desirable but not essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated capacity to remain composed and make clear decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Demonstrated ability to maintain focused during shifts and detect early signs of distress or rule violations.
