About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane.

The Role

Golden Avenue is seeking a Bar Manager to bring warmth, energy, and leadership to our vibrant terrace bar. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, General Manager, and Group Beverage Director, you'll help guide the heart of our beverage program while nurturing a supportive, thriving team environment. This is a hands-on leadership role from helping craft Middle Eastern-inspired seasonal drinks to keeping daily operations, inventory, and labor running smoothly behind the scenes. You will play a central role in bringing Golden Avenue's spirited hospitality to life in the Brisbane CBD.

Skills & Experience

- Confident in managing service, coaching performance and working closely with various departments

- Strong administration across invoicing, POS accuracy, cash-ups and end-of-night reporting

- Ability to build and maintain recipes,



specs and SOPs with consistent execution

- Skilled at training bar staff on products, techniques and responsible service standards

- Supplier and stakeholder management, including tastings, pricing and deliveries

- Demonstrates exceptional skill in crafting cocktails with precision, consistency, and creativity, utilising advanced techniques to elevate the guest experience.

- Has a track record of designing innovative, balanced, and commercially successful cocktail menus that reflect current trends, seasonality, and brand identity

- Outstanding guest engagement skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues and maintaining brand standards under pressure

- Engages actively in the local and global bar community, participating in events, competitions, or collaborations, and stays connected with industry trends and networks

- Understanding of QLD Liquor Licensing Laws

- Adherence to RSA Compliance and WHS Protocols
