About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Chef to join our growing food manufacturing team in Bibra Lake. This is an excellent chance for a hands-on chef who enjoys working in a production environment and has a strong understanding of food quality, consistency, food safety and efficient kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate daily food production activities

- Prepare and cook soups, sauces, meals and other food products to established recipes and specifications

- Ensure products are consistently produced to the required quality, taste, texture and presentation

- Supervise and work alongside kitchen and production staff

- Organise daily production requirements and ensure schedules are achieved

- Weigh and accurately measure ingredients according to recipes and production specifications

- Monitor cooking temperatures, times and processes

- Maintain high standards of food safety,



hygiene and workplace cleanliness

- Ensure HACCP and food safety procedures are followed

- Minimise waste and monitor ingredient usage

About you

- Proven experience as a Chef in a commercial or food production environment

- Strong cooking and food preparation skills

- Experience working with large-volume production

- Good understanding of food safety and HACCP principles

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Excellent attention to detail and consistency

- Ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately

- Ability to lead and motivate a production team

- A practical, hands-on approach to work

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
